Here’s a copy of the slides from my recent presentation on Proprioception & Neuromuscular Control at a shoulder workshop.
There are some new developments using sensory testing and joint re-position acuity to evaluate proprioception.
I outline the clinical methods used to assess these parameters.
In the section on Neuromuscular control we work through a number of clinical examples of alterations in shoulder girdle alignment and define the Neuro-muscular control deficits associated the observations.
This provides a framework to structure treatment.
